ROCKTOBER FESTIVAL VII - Baton Rouge, La PDF Print E-mail
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Philliper Stewart, daughter of the late Buddy Stewart, has continued to plan for the annual ROCKTOBER FESTIVAL which is held at the Rhythm Museum in Baton Rouge, La. October 1, 2005.
This will the seventh year and by all accounts should be the biggest. In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, ROCKTOBER FESTIVAL VII will take place on OCTOBER 1, 2005, THE RHYTHM MUSEUM 1712 North Acadian West. This annual event features Baton Rouge best recording artist in Gospel, Zydeco, Jazz and Rhythm & Blues.

Sponsored by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation and The Atrs Council of Greater Baton Rouge, this year festival will honor the late Jackie Neal and Roy B. Stewart, Sr. drummer of the Raful Neal Band, and feautre a grand finale of the Baton Rouge Blues Revue.

Free to the public, one-day event, 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. food, fun and great prizes.
