The 1st Annual Jackie Neal Day At The Park, held July 9th was a "stunning success", Mrs. Neal said. The family plans to make this program a yearly event and all proceeds from the event will go the assistance Jackie's three boys. The timing of the event is quite fitting, since Jackie's birthday is July 7th.

Jackie's band is still togther and was present the the "Jackie Neal Day" along with many other local bands. Tyree Neal, Jackie's nephew is expecting his latest CD (Steppin' Out At 22) to be released any day now. And when it is, we will preview it for you here on the Chittlin Circuit web site.
It is not well known but, Tyree wrote all of the songs on his Aunt Jackie's CD, "Down At Da Club.
