 Stacy Mitchhart, a name you must remember if you don’t already know it. He’s been around the music scene for a number of years. He’s already recorded two CD’s, but this one is THE ONE that will make him a household name. Residing in the Nashville, TN area, Stacy has continuously toured the states and overseas. He is no stranger to the mainstream Blues market and those fans remain dedicated to him. Now he’s crossing over to the Southern Soul side and ready to welcome more fans to his following. Veteran Southern Soul artists like Mel Waiters, Sir Charles Jones, Sheba Potts-Wright and so on, have given Stacy their stamp of approval as a bonified musician, producer, songwriter, singer and entertainer. He’s gained the respect of many as the winner of the Albert King Guitartist Award and Stacy appeared in the HBO Original Series “Pimps Up…Part II.” As Stacy graces the cover of this issue, you should note that he explores every aspect of his craft. In other words, “The sky is the limit.”
Stacy and co-producer Darren James are putting the finishing touches on his upcoming CD title, “I’m A Good Man.” The first single is titled “U Turn Me On,” which is doing well on the “Chittlin Circuit” charts. In addition, Stacy Mitchjart and his band have just recently video-taped footage that will appear in his new DVD. This new CD has influenced Stacy to widen his sound and range to reach the Steppers and Swing-Out dancers in the nightclubs. He has carefully put together a sound that will give him a signature in the Southern Soul market. Radio Jocks like ‘Papa Rock’ in Pensacola, FL, ‘PPW’ in Monroe, LA, ‘Chill Will’ in Burlington, NJ and many more are excited about this very first Blue-Eyed Southern Soul Brother.
