This young Southern Soul Superstar was on the rise, before her untimely death. She was murdered earlier this year in a beauty salon in her hometown of Baton Rouge, LA. Her voice was like no other. You could hear the distinction every time her song came across the radio.
Jackie Neal was a client and a dear friend to all of us at the “Chittlin’ Circuit.” We made a vow to help her promote her CD since it was on her newly formed Jazzy Records label. I know we speak for all when we say that Jackie Neal will be forever missed. But her legacy through her music will live on.
