Anyone hearing Jazmine perform their eclectic mixture of jazz classics and original compositions, with occasional nods to Motown, would be struck by the joy emanating from the sextet.
All the guys in the group are from Memphis, TN, and they are Robert Horton-vocals, harmonica, percussion; Lee Grinspan-guitar, vocals; Chris Ward-piano; John Lightman-bass, vocals; Barry Johnson-drums and the lone female and lead vocalist, T.J. Graham![]() It seems that every audience that T.J. performs in front of is drawn to her beauty, elegance and magnetic stage appearance. Her style is inspired by such greats as Betty Carter, Shirley Horn, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, Al Jarreau, just to name a few With five CD projects to her credit, T.J. has performed and /or sat in with many talented artists such as, Gene Rush, Donald Brown, Rene Koopman and so on. Currently, T.J. and Jazmine play a variety of music, which gives them a unique sound coming from the Memphis area.
