Pat Brown's "Live In Woman" holds the #1 spot on "The Chittlin Circuit" singles chart. This Smash Hit is taken from her new CD "For Your Information Only."
Born in Meridian, Mississippi on the fourteenth (14) day of September, I, Pat Brown (then Pat Rush), attended grade school where I participated in, and won, numerous talent shows as a part of my musical beginning. I attended Harris Jr. College, also in Meridian, where I joined a group called The Dynamics which later became The Commodores.

As a child, my Idols and babysitters were Al Wilson(Show & Tell), David Ruffin(The Temptations) and Jimmy Ruffin(brother of David and a great professional singer and song writer) who all pushed or inspired me to continue to sing and work hard. They gave me encouragement to be successful with my singing career.

After Jr. college, I attended Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, Missisippi where I performed with numerous local and professional groups. After college, I moved to Jackson, Mississippi where I live at this time.

I have performed with the following artist, either as a a part of their show or as the opening act, such as: B.B. King, Percy Sledge, Tyrone Davis, Bobby Rush, Al Green, Johnny Taylor, Willie Clayton (my hero) and many many others.

I have performed primarily in the south, but also in Detriot, Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York City, St. Louis, San Fransisco, Long Beach, Milwaukee, Miami, Helsinki Finland and Amsterdam, Holland.

My wish is that this is only the beginning of a long streak of hit albums that You, the Public, will love and enjoy, and also that I will continue to give you only the best my music which I feel that You, the public, deserve.
