The Seventh Annual Roctober Festival held in Baton Rouge, La. on October 1st 2005 was a success according to the events founder Philliper Stewart. The Chittlin Circuit can agree, as we wre there. Pleanty of good Southern cooking, music and friendly music lovers.
Some of the acts included The One More Time Band, the Henry Grey Blues Band a Zydeco Music Band, Tyree Neal and his Uncle Raful Neal Jr.

Every year, for the last seven years, the Roctober Fest is held in Baton Rouge, La. Last year, Ms. Jackie Neal and her band performed on that stage. Her performance was recorded and the Chittlin Circuit is proud to to bring it to you. Jackie's band which included nephew Tyree Neal sisters Charlene and Darlene Neal and her good friend Terry (aka Ms Honey)

He was born William McKinley Hutchison on December 6, 1944, but fame and fortune called him Willie Hutch. Willie Hutch passed away on Monday, September 19th.

New CD - Stepping Out At 22 - Tyree Neal

After many months of hard work and the tragic loss of his Aunt Jackie Neal, Tyree Neal is stepping out on his own. The title is a prefect fit for this 22 year old guitar playing, song writting, producer and singer. This newly released CD contains songs dedicated to Jackie, his Mother Charlene and his Grandmother Shirley.

Charlene Neal "The Neal Family Are All Ok"

Charlene Neal, (pictured on the left) older sister of Jackie Neal and a member of the Jackie Neal Band, contacted the Chittlin Circuit this afternoon (Sept. 16, 2005) and told us that all members of the Neal family are doing just fine. "The city (Baton Rouge) is a little more hectic than before the storm", Charlene says, "but we will get used to it".
Ms Neal also mentioned that her son, Tyree Neal, has released his frist CD Steppin' Out At 22 and there is a special song included that honors the memory of his Aunt, Jackie Neal.
