It was just a few months ago in Memphis, TN., at the Jus Blues Music Awards, that the Chittlin Circuit was given an award for the best Internet Radio Station for 2007. When you work hard on a project it is always nice to know that all of your efforts have not gone unoticed.

We have now learned that the Bay Area Blues Society in Oakland, California has awarded the Chittlin Circuit Magazine the Best Blues Publication for 2008. As mentioned before it is a pleasure to know that all of the hard work and dedication that is put into a project in noticed by others.

The Chittlin Circuit Magazine is read by music lovers all over the country and is the perfect publication for artist of all kinds to promote their music, plays, books and movies. Many artists send us their project just to get our input. Just ask Little Junior Crudup (also honored this year), we were one of the first to view his short film "The Blues".

The award program hosted by the Bay Area Blues Society and the City of Oakland will be held at the Marriott Oakland City Center March 29, 2008. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit their web site bayareabluessociety.net
