Jus Blues Music Awards Voting Is Closed

The Historical Daisy Theater

The voting for this year's Jus Blues Music Award nominees has run it's course. It is now up to the judges to see who the award in each one of the categories. The awards will be presented in Memphis, Tenn., August 16, 2007. The historical Daisy Theater will be place where all of the action will be. The Chittlin Circuit has learned that there will be two hosts. One of the hosts, will be that voice of all voices, Da Wolf! The second host, is a well know personality in her own right, Ms. Beverly McDowell. Ms McDowell is a radio DJ with the American Blues Network. The show will have performances by some of the best Southern Soul and Blues artists on the planet. Scheduled so far are Maxine Brown, Theodis Ealey, Lil' Jimmy, Raine, Lucky Peterson, Willie Hill and more!
