If Vernon Neilly was in the business of “dropping names,” he could drop many of the most legendary names in the business and quickly pave his way to greater stardom, because he has the connections and relationships to do just that. BUT, Vernon doesn’t have to “play that game” because his ‘for real’ track record speaks for him.
Vernon Neilly is the first jazz artist to grace the cover of the Chittlin’ Circuit and we are so glad we waited for this first. This guy is a tremendously talented and gifted musician, artist and businessman. And to top it all off Vernon Neilly has his own guitars named after him.

There comes a time in the life of every small business to make some major decisions. For the Chittlin Circuit Magazine, we have come to that stage where we have to make a few decisions.
In our 2 year existance, we have increased our readership from 1,000 to well over 50,000 and still growing. It is now time to get more staff on board.
We are in the process of looking for sales people, writers and distributors.

Mr. Luther Wade Lackey singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and what everelse someone engrossed in music can do, Luther does it. Want Country songs? Luther has written them. Need a good Southern Soul Song? Guess what? Luther has written them also. Adding to his list of things completed, Luther has penned a song relating to the events in New Orleans, after Hurricane Katrina passed the city.

Roctober Festival VII A Grand Success

The Seventh Annual Roctober Festival held in Baton Rouge, La. on October 1st 2005 was a success according to the events founder Philliper Stewart. The Chittlin Circuit can agree, as we wre there. Pleanty of good Southern cooking, music and friendly music lovers.
Some of the acts included The One More Time Band, the Henry Grey Blues Band a Zydeco Music Band, Tyree Neal and his Uncle Raful Neal Jr.
